Intensive cooperation between HAP ‘t Hellegat and Ambulance Rotterdam-Rijnmond

This has resulted in a unique collaboration between Huisartsenpost ‘t Hellegat and Ambulance Rotterdam-Rijnmond.
The closure of the Haringvliet Bridge poses logistical challenges to ensure (acute) care. Both the general practitioners, HAP ‘t Hellegat and Ambulancedienst Rotterdam-Rijnmond have been looking for a joint solution. The team of Nurse Specialists/Physician Assistant within Ambulance Rotterdam-Rijnmond will partly receive the general practitioner emergency care. Especially at the times when the HAP in Dirksland is closed. A collaboration that fits within the profile of Ambulance Rotterdam-Rijnmond with which HAP ‘t Hellegat wholeheartedly agrees: Leading in providing the right care in the right place.
